Feel the need to organize your alcoholism?

I had a VERY funny conversation with one of my favorite uncles over Thanksgiving. We were discussing how to booze on a budget. Now that he is retired, everything has to be budgeted. Buying big bottles of your favorite spirit is of course the thriftiest of  options, it also tends to encourage faster consumption. You could buy half pints everyday, but that is WAY too expensive, wastes gas, adds to the recycling pile, and what do you do on Sunday?! Problem solved!  Here is a set of  “days of the week” half pints that I made him for Christmas. Just fill from your favorite handle and you are all set!

Girls nights out, tutu Tuesdays, birthday parties, slumber parties, my costume box has made the rounds. Little did I know that I would start decorating my house with it! My husband and I have been renovating our house, so this was the first year that we put up a tree. And of course, I had no tree skirt. Problem solved!
